BIO:

Gio Lepra is a tattoo artist based in Bergen, Norway. Drawing from vintage illustration, American traditional tattooing, Western imagery and Mexican visual culture, Gio reinterprets familiar characters, objects, animals and flowers through a bold, graphic and personal language. Playful, strange and sometimes dark, the work moves beyond traditional references, giving each idea a fresh twist while considering how it lives on the body.
